MOLLIE & FRED…The online boutique specialising in stylish homeware & design-led gifts was set-up by my husband Christian & I. We are a small family run business with very big aspirations for the future.
We are hugely passionate about beautiful products, this passion coming from my many years experience as a Fashion Accessories Buyer for a well-known high street chain. I loved being a buyer, what girl gets paid to go shopping for a living…oh if only it was that simple! It wasn’t so much a job, but a way of life – I used to eat, sleep & breathe accessories (much to Christian's annoyance!) Incredibly hard work and very stressful at times but extremely rewarding; it was an experience I wouldn’t change for the world. I was lucky enough to visit some incredible places & work alongside some of the most amazing people, many of whom will be lifelong friends. The knowledge, experience & contacts I have made over the years really is invaluable to the success of MOLLIE & FRED.
The birth of our two beautiful children (Freddie & Mollie) was the catalyst behind our decision to take the leap into the unknown & set-up MOLLIE & FRED. Parenthood really put into perspective what was important in life & I had always dreamed of running my own
business, so fate if you like gave us the gentle push we needed to make this dream become a reality. It has taken a lot of hard work to get to where we are today. We are incredibly proud of this website & hopefully it just marks the beginning of the next chapter...
