Mollie & Fred have just taken a trip to the Birmingham Spring Fair at the NEC, it was such a wonderful day out, we loved interacting with all the different suppliers.
This Spring Fair 2022 is held at the NEC Birmingham in February across four days which started on Sunday 6th of February until Wednesday 9th and consists of lots of wholesale home, gift, and fashion stalls. It’s a great way for us to pick out any new suppliers we would like to start selling or add any additional new lines to our existing suppliers. They generally put on large exciting displays to launch their new season items. The Spring Fair is a great way to immerse yourself in the new ideas and upcoming trends, it’s a brilliant time to touch and feel the quality of the items before purchasing.
This is the first time that the Spring Fair has been up and running since the start of the pandemic, so it was a lovely chance to meet the suppliers and get to discuss their collections.
As this was my first time visiting a trade show it was a really exciting experience! We started the day off travelling to a different part of the UK, the event was huge and spans throughout numerous halls. Once inside I got the opportunity to have a wander around lots of fun and interactive stalls, even chatted to a few suppliers which was a little nerve racking. I was blown away with the amount of giftware stalls that were there - plus we had a super delicious lunch!
Afterwards, Mollie and Fred's Managing Director took us around some of our existing suppliers stalls like Sass & Belle, Widdop, Elite and Shoeless Joe. We were all given a chance to have an input into some of the new items which will be launching soon on the website!
