On the 20th of May it is officially World Bee Day! This day has specifically been created to raise awareness on the importance of Bees, as well as the threats that they are facing in our current climate. Bees are pollinators and offer such a vast variety of helpful services that essentially keep our eco system kicking. Many people do not understand how important Bees are and often mistake them for a nuisance, but this is simply not the case. By being pollinators, Bees are an essential part of keeping the planet healthy.
World Bee Day was created in 2018 in hope of bringing people together to educate them on Bees, as well as creating ways of helping the Bees to make them thrive in every day life. Unfortunatley Bees are under threat and have seen a significant increase in extinction rates.
