Easter is celebrated because it is one of the most important Christian festivals of the year. This is because The Bible states that Christ died on the cross on good Friday and was resurrected on the Easter Sunday, we celebrate his sacrifice and then his new lease of life. Easter for non-religious people is a time to enjoy with the whole family as the kids are off and there are often fun days out. The Easter holidays are a great time to get out and explore the UK. We want to show you some of the brilliant attractions and places to visit this Easter which are designed for the whole family.

Treasure Trails has hundreds of trails which venture through beautiful countrysides. Treasure trails includes puzzle solving, figuring out clues whilst you explore your new surrounding. You can choose your trail format as either a PDF Print at Home, Professionally Printed by them or you are able to personalise it yourself. This is great for the grandparents to enjoy alongside the grandkids as the trails are about 1-2 miles long and if you solve the mystery then you'll be entered into a £100 draw, how exciting is that! 

 

The National Trust 

Location: Across the UK 

The national trust have selected their top family walks across the UK, as family days out don't have to be expensive or complicated just a nice day out to spend some quality time together. Here are a few of their walks - Sculpture trail at Sutton Hoo, Suffolk. This trail takes you through the woods with a river view, you can bring everyone's imaginations to life as you can download the family story quest to help you guide you through the trail. Mill Walk at Hardcastle Crags, West Yorkshire - This is a riverside footpath to wooded valleys of Hardcastle Crags, there are stepping stones along the way and watch out for all of the beautiful wildlife! For something a little more laid back a lovely idea is to go for a nice Easter brunch. You could even make a day of it and go to London for a fancy meal or pop to your local for a delicious start to Easter. If you still have room you could go for a late afternoon evening meal with your friends, it'll be a nice excuse to see one another.
